Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop

Hello!  Just a quick post this time around because the deadline for entering the Fall Coffee Lover’s Bloghop is quickly approaching!

I only had time to make one card this time around 😦

Some of you coffee lovers out there might recognize the pattern in its original form…

That’s right, I’ve been saving this cup (actually two of them) for almost a year now wondering what I would do with them (I had no idea until this past summer that the Coffee Lovers Bloghop existed  – I must have been living under a rock – LOL!

When I assembled my cards, I forgot to take pics of the individual cups!  I even made an extra partial cup and applied Decoupage so it would look more like a ceramic cup, but seeing some brush strokes bothered me, so I didn’t finish the other cups that way.  I painted these with distress inks but can’t find my list of colors used.  I do remember that the background color is Iced Spruce.

I used a Darice (leaves) embossing folder for the black background.  The red plaid paper is G45, Raining Cats and Dogs, with a little bit of stenciling at the top from the Elizabeth Craft coffee stencil (and Ground Espresso ink).   The coffee beans  (Elizabeth Craft) were left over from the Summer blog hop and have Vintage Photo distress embossing powder on them.  I added crinkle ribbon,  found the “Coffee Break” free digital image on Pinterest and re-sized it.

Here’s a few more pics…

That about covers it  and for me, this is a CAS card for sure!  Thanks for stopping by and please feel free to leave comments – I appreciate getting feedback!!
