Hello! It’s hard to believe that we’re already into our second week of November…Thanksgiving will be here soon! It’s also time for another challenge at Words 2 Craft By…stop by to get inspired by the rest of the team and join in on the fun! This month’s words are…
“Piglet noticed that even though he had a Very Small Heart, it could hold a rather large amount of Gratitude.” A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh
This is my project:
Usually, at this point in my post, I talk about the process and products used, but there’s not much of a process this time around. My image is a digital stamp from Power Poppy and the paper I printed it on is from the Christmas Carols Digital Paper Pack at Graciellie Design. I had never worked with layering digital stamps before…I definitely need more practice!
I wanted to make this into a smaller card, but needed to have the image bigger so that I could color it. I used Perfect Pearls Merriment Red, Perfect Copper and Sunflower Sparkle.
I then layered that onto a piece of scrap paper I had and added a bow and some sequins. That’s it, and here’s another idea for displaying this:
Thanks for stopping by and please feel free to leave comments 🙂

Oh my word is this ever sales pitch for digital imagery! You layered this paper and this gorgeous stamp perfectly! Of all the stamp designs I have never had a wreath like this, but a good friend does and I will have to borrow it. 🙂 I just love the added glitter and bow and especially the way you presented it in the frame – GORGEOUSNESS darling! GORGEOUSNESS! 🙂 Hugs, Autumn

Marty, This is such a gorgeous card (aka art piece) and one of the most beautiful digitally-inspired cards I’ve ever seen. That wreath is just stunning!

Marty! What a GORGEOUS piece of framed artwork! I cannot believe this is what you do with Digital stamping–I am so far removed from that! But I love the wreath and how you colored it with Perfect Pearls and added that amazing bow! Love, love, LOVE this! I’m swooning! While I’m here, I want to thank you for entering this early on in our Heartfelt Freedom and Festivities Dare at Emerald Creek! Hugs! Sara Emily DT
PS And why is this NOT in our Rustic Glam challenge at Anything But Cute??? http://anythingbutcutechallenge.blogspot.com/2016/11/challenge-19-rustic-glam.html

Really lovely card! Great work with the image and colouring – and those papers work perfectly together with the image! The ribbon&bow is a great finishing touch with the gems. Thank you for joining us at Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenges, good luck! Hope to see you soon again.
