Springtime Bunny Tag Book

Hello! At the end of last year, I decided to take a little break from my blog, but it extended longer than I had intended. My son broke his ankle mid-February and since then, he’s been back at home recuperating. Although I haven’t blogged, I’ve managed to get a few things posted on FB.

This is the front page of my most recent project:

The rest of the pages…

The challenge theme on Prima/Julie Nutting’s FB page this month is Spring and I decided to make a tag album using Julie’s Bunny stamps and dies set. My tags are a combination of the G45 Square Tag & Clock die set, and Spellbinders Opulent Ovals. Patterned papers are from the Prima/JN March and April A4 paper pad. The little farmer bunny’s background was made using the carrot and lettuce stamps (from the Bunny set) on green gingham paper from the March/April pad.

Other products used:

Distress Inks: Vintage Photo, Dried Marigold, Carved Pumpkin, Ripe Persimmon (carrots); Mowed Lawn (lettuce)

Distress Oxide Sprays: Faded Jeans, Cracked Pistachio, Iced Spruce (Farmer Bunny outfit); Spiced Marmalade & Fossilized Amber (large Peony flower)

Prima Art Philosopy Pan Watercolor – Complexion (all 3 Bunny dolls)

Memory Box dies: Delightful Peony Outline & Background

Tim Holtz dies: Mixed Media set 660220; Funky Florals 1 & 2

Tim Holtz 3-D embossing folder: Botanical

Tim Holtz Jute String

Prima Art Alchemy Metallique Wax: White Gold

Nuvo Drops: Gloss White, Ripened Pumpkin

Minnie Pearls (mini) Prills

Prima Tea Rose (Santa Rosa)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Marty, I am so excited to see you post again! Wow, you came back with a BANG! I love this little, but impressive tag book with all those bold colors and details! Your bunnies are ADORABLE and your die cut flowers are so pretty! What a great post and project! PS I tried to see this on Facebook but it said post was deleted. Could be a problem with FB right now–happens to me all the time. So happy you have taken some time for yourself to craft, and happy your son is on the path to recovery! Hugs!

Hi, Marty – I am happy for you that your son is recovering, and that your blog hiatus was significantly shorter than mine!! Love your little book – the images and all the coloring and details are so festive, and indeed evocative of spring. I am obviously a bit late here, but am at long last settling into some sort of schedule where I can visit all the eye candy out there! Hugs, Lynn
